What is Rhinophalt®?


  • Rhinophalt® is a preventive maintenance treatment for all asphalt, which maintains, protects, prolongs the asphalt structure and is proven to withstand all extreme weather conditions. Applied to the asphalt surface, penetrates Rhinophalt® also penetrate microcracks and interconnecting voids to form a tough seal, keep water out and slow the aging process.


  • Rhinophalt® contains a natural asphalt, gilsonite, which is a mineral antioxidant and is a key component in preventing asphalt deterioration from bitumen oxidation. Gilsonite resin is much harder than bitumen - it is an antioxidant that strengthens and seals the surface course and slows asphalt aging.


  • Rhinophalt® is an advanced asphalt protection system that meets the requirements of Section 950 in the Specification for Road Works and is HAPAS certified and CE marked.
