BITU® B200L

Solvent-based special bitumen
BITU® B200L is a bitumen solution based on road construction bitumen, solvents and an adhesive. This corresponds to DIN 1995 Part 4 or the technical ones. Conditions of delivery for cold bitumen (published by the "Research Society for Roads").

Application

Cracks and joints can be filled with BITU® B200L on dry surfaces, even in dry cold conditions. Also suitable for painting damaged and chipped bituminous ceiling surfaces before filling with KMG, sand and fine gravel. Also for concrete and asphalt surfaces and open pavement and concrete joints.

BITU® B200L can be used pure, mixed or used to repair cracks. Widths of 1 cm can easily be cast using a headless watering can or similar. Pure but at cold temperatures only on cracks/joints up to 3 mm. Care must be taken to ensure thorough spreading (e.g. grit 1/3).

Surfaces wetted with BITU® B200L should be sprinkled with filler-free, washed sand or fine grit to prevent bonding to the tire at warmer temperatures.

Notice

BITU® B200L contains solvents, therefore relevant safety precautions must be observed.

The material can be used as a middle seam coating.
