BITUFUG®-K Vergus mass "cald"

BITUFUG®-KV is a two-component bitumen-based casting compound, consisting of the casting base (component A) and the special additive (component B). The mass can be processed cold and is free of solvents. After mixing components A and B, the potting compound is poured directly from the packaging container. Finally, the repaired damaged area is sprinkled with bitumen chippings (component S). For special measures, an undercoat / primer (component P) should be used. The material, packaged in practical portions, is also ideal for smaller-scale projects.

Joints and cracks in asphalt and concrete surfaces can be filled particularly easily with BITUFUG®-KV. Damaged seams, connections and transition areas on manholes and valves can also be repaired.

aThe joints and cracks should be cleaned with compressed air or a joint brush. Dirt and loose parts must be removed. The substrate should be clean and dry. The material has a high adhesive strength, which is why primer can usually be dispensed with. In special cases, e.g. with brittle flanks and concrete, the areas to be treated should be coated with a primer (component P). Briefly stir up the casting compound (component A) in the PE bottle with a mixer attachment, shake up the special additive (component B) and pour into the measuring cup. Put the special additive (B) in the measuring cup into the casting compound (A) and mix the entire content together to create a homogeneous mass. High speeds should be avoided. In order to obtain the pouring opening, the bottle (A) must be screwed shut and the corner cut off. Our tip: poke an air hole on the opposite side, this makes pouring easier. Pour out the mass in a thick strand and sprinkle with bitumen chippings from the bottle (S) after the reaction has started. Process the contents of the bottle (A) within 15 minutes. The sealing compound then begins to set. Traffic resistance is achieved after approx. 30 minutes at up to approx. 5°C. In the case of high humidity or temperatures below 5°C, the work area must be dried or preheated (hot air lance or gas burner) beforehand. Do not install the material in frost. Clean the tools immediately and thoroughly with a cloth or paper towel. Residual materials can be removed with bio-diesel.

  • 1/1 carton for approx. 106.0 running meters.
The 1/1 carton contains:
  • 8 x Component A - Potting Base
  • 1 x component B - special additive
  • 1 x component S - grit, bitumen
  • Potting compound 14.4 kg, sufficient for 106 running meters. Crack/joint filling
  • measuring cup, knife, joint brush, mixing attachment (without cordless screwdriver)

The components can be stored for at least 12 months.
