BITUNAHT® HP

Specially modified, particularly elastic hot bitumen for seam treatment BITUNAHT® HP is a primer containing solvents and fillers, based on a polymer-modified bitumen

Application

Pretreatment of seams to achieve a permanent connection in asphalt road construction according to the "hot to cold" construction method, e.g. B. in adjacent paving tracks that can not be made "hot to hot".

processing

Bitunaht® HP can be applied hot. The material is not sensitive to frost and is rainproof and waterproof after drying. Due to the high proportion of solids and the combination of fillers contained, Bitunaht® HP has good wet stability on vertical surfaces. Good heat resistance and cold flexibility as well as excellent adhesion and adhesive properties thanks to polymer-modified bitumen.

Do not apply in the rain and not at air temperatures below 5° C. Never work on a frozen surface. Processing on a dry, clean and stable substrate; loose parts are to be removed. After thorough stirring, Bitunaht® HP is applied generously and evenly to the seam to be treated by spraying using a special processing device (thermal cooker).
