BITUSOL® primer

Primer for bitumen products BITUSOL® primer is a quick-drying plastic primer for bitumen products and sealing materials

Application

BITUSOL® primer has very good adhesion to asphalt, concrete and metal components and can be used when pouring concrete and asphalt joints as well as rail joints in accordance with TL/TP Fug-StB 15 and as a primer for BITUBAND® joint tape.

processing

The primer must completely cover the joint flanks. It is evenly applied thinly to the flanks of the joint space using a brush or other suitable device. It should be noted that the joint is clean and dry. The applied primer must be dry or aired before further work steps.

The purpose of the primer is to bind the dust adhering to the concrete and asphalt parts and to form a firmly adhering layer in order to create a permanently strong anchorage between the joint flank and the joint filling.
