Surface treatment (EOB)

The "surface treatment" construction method is used to repair / maintain existing asphalt surface layers and is mainly used on roads in load classes BK 1.8 to BK 0.3. By spraying the underlay with bitumen emulsion and then sprinkling with aggregates, the road surfaces stressed by weather and traffic are sealed or preserved. This procedure ensures long-term use of the roads.

For high-quality surface treatments, only the latest technology and high-quality building materials are used in our company. The laying machines we use have infinitely adjustable spray bars, which ensure optimal distribution of the binding agent. Binder dosing is controlled by our experienced machine operators and allows the amounts of binder to be optimally adjusted to the existing asphalt surface layer. Speed-dependent grit spreaders guarantee exact dosing. Special polymer-modified, solvent-free binders, which are characterized by improved adhesion, and carefully selected aggregates are processed.
